What the brand publishes

Velixir lists Icarus as a unisex Eau de Parfum. Its published pyramid opens with pear, Calabrian bergamot and mandarin, moves through ginger, orange blossom and Georgywood, then finishes with musk, Ambrofix, Akigalawood and cedarwood. Mandarin also appears in the brand’s heart-note list. The brand advertises 7–8 hours on skin; this is a manufacturer claim, not a result measured by Fragranote.

What to check before buying

The useful question when sampling Icarus is whether you prefer the fruity opening or the woody-musky finish. Check both stages before deciding: a shared pear note with another fragrance does not establish that they smell identical.
