Avg 7.2 / 10Asad Zanzibar: salty coconut, not just another Asad
Research by Fragranote Team. Updated 11 September 2026. This is source-based analysis, not a hands-on wear test.
What the brand publishes
Lattafa’s published pyramid lists black pepper and sea lavender at the top, salty coconut water and iris in the heart, and vanilla and incense in the base. The official page identifies a 100 ml fragrance for men. These facts describe Zanzibar specifically; the Asad name alone is not a reason to transfer another Asad edition’s notes or performance claims to it.
What to check before buying
When sampling, assess whether you enjoy the contrast between the salty-coconut idea and the vanilla-incense base. A tropical name does not prove comfort in very hot weather. Try a modest application in the setting where you will actually wear it, and avoid buying solely because another Asad edition worked well for you.
How to interpret the scores
The scores, duration bands and climate guidance on this page are catalogue estimates. They are not independent test measurements. A note pyramid describes a scent, not ingredient quantities, allergens or a guaranteed order of evaporation. Price ranges are indicative and may vary by bottle size, retailer and market.
